Campus Partner terms
The agreement between an AI and Data Science department and theTN.ai, in plain words. The signed agreement says the same in fuller form.
Last updated 24 October 2026
Who agrees
The department named in the signed agreement, through its Principal or Head of Department, and theTN.ai. For now theTN.ai is run by StudAI Edutech Private Limited (CIN U85500TN2024PTC168744), Chennai, which signs for it. When theTN.ai moves to its own entity, the agreement passes to that entity, and we will tell you in writing.
theTN.ai is independent. It is not a government website, and it is not approved by AICTE, Anna University or any regulator.
How long
One academic year from the date both sides sign. It renews only if both sides want it to.
What theTN.ai does
- Publishes a page for the department on theTN.ai, and gives it a student signup link and a Campus Partner badge for its own website.
- Lists the department's AI events free, after checking them against the department's own page, with a social media poster for each.
- Publishes student projects and campus stories after checking every fact.
- Sends the faculty coordinator a monthly note with totals, and the department an annual activity report with dated links.
- Gives certificates to student correspondents, featured project teams, the coordinator and the department, each with a public check page.
- Tries to arrange guest talks from companies on the TN AI Map when the department asks. We cannot promise a speaker.
What the department does
- Names one faculty coordinator with an official email address.
- Shares the student signup link with its students at least once a term.
- Sends its AI events and results as they happen.
- May nominate up to three student Campus Correspondents, all 18 or older.
- Confirms, through the coordinator's private link, that a student project is real before we publish it.
No fees
Neither side pays the other anything, now or later. theTN.ai never charges students, departments or colleges for pages, listings, posters, reports, badges or certificates.
Your name and logo
theTN.ai uses the college's name on the department page, on stories and projects from the campus, and on certificates. We use the college's logo only if the department sends it to us for that purpose. If the department leaves, the logo and the department page come down within 7 days; stories and projects already published stay up, as news does, unless a person in them asks us to remove their name.
Being a Campus Partner is not an endorsement or a ranking. We never rank or score colleges or departments.
What we publish
theTN.ai decides what it publishes and how, under its own standards: every fact is checked against a source and errors are corrected in public. Before we publish anything critical about the department, we ask the department for its reply and include it fairly.
Personal data
- The coordinator's and HoD's names, emails and phone numbers are kept privately and used only for this partnership. The coordinator's name appears on the department page only if the department agreed.
- Students sign up on their own and must be 18 or older. The department never sends us a student list, and we never tell the department who signed up: it sees totals only, and any count under 5 is shown as "fewer than 5". We never give the department a student's email or phone. The one exception is a project a student sends: the faculty coordinator sees its title and the team names the student listed, to confirm it is real.
- No personal data goes to StudAI One or anyone else without the person's permission.
- Anyone can ask us to delete their data or their name. We act on a student's request within 48 hours. How we handle data: Privacy.
Certificates and badges
Certificates and badges are given only for work theTN.ai has checked or published. Each has a public check page. theTN.ai may withdraw one that was given in error, and the check page then says so.
Leaving
Either side can end the partnership at any time with one email, with no reason needed. theTN.ai may end it if the department asks us to publish something false or to break these terms.

Our Chief Editor, Paul Jeevanesan, also founded StudAI One. StudAI One has no part in this programme, does not receive data from it, and does not sell to partner departments through it. Any separate offer from StudAI One is its own conversation and is labelled as a related party. Disclosures
Changes and contact
If we change these terms, we email every partner coordinator at least 30 days before the change, and a partner can leave instead. Questions: editor@thetn.ai.
